Daily Life
The following information is intended as a guide as to how a resident may choose to spend their day at Westwood.
The day can begin with an early morning cup of tea and then a little later, breakfast in bed. After getting dressed residents have the choice to stay in their own room, meet up in the lounges to enjoy each others company, read the paper, entertain visitors, or maybe watch television. Tea, coffee and biscuits are served mid-morning.
A three course lunch is served at midday in the dining room. In the afternoon, there are various activities to choose from or you may just feel like an afternoon siesta, or going out for a stroll before returning for mid-afternoon tea, coffee and biscuits.
Following the afternoon’s activities, a light three course evening meal is served in the dining room. During the evening it maybe time to relax, read, enjoy a little television or spend time with visitors before the night time drinks, supper snacks and then when you feel like it, go to bed.
